Jean-Paul Courville is a nationally recognized keynote speaker, leadership coach, and public speaking instructor with over three decades of experience leading and inspiring high-performing teams in both military and civilian sectors. A retired U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Major, Jean-Paul is a decorated combat veteran whose honors include the Bronze Star with combat “V” for valor. His leadership experience spans three combat tours in Iraq and global operations in Afghanistan, the Middle East, and aboard U.S. Navy ships.

 

Following his military service, Jean-Paul brought his operational and communication expertise to international consulting roles in the United Arab Emirates and municipal leadership serving as a Director of Procurement for the City of Atlanta. He has spoken at U.S. Embassies, Fortune 500-affiliated events, universities, and global forums, delivering high-impact presentations on leadership under pressure, effective communication, and personal resilience.

 

A skilled instructor, Jean-Paul specializes in teaching executives, teams, and aspiring speakers how to communicate with clarity, confidence, and conviction. His insights have been featured in the Military Channel documentary Warrior POV: The Road to Baghdad, and his writing appears in the Marine Corps Gazette and Outdoor UAE.

Jean-Paul holds degrees in Liberal Arts and Administrative Management, a Homeland Security Certificate, and is pursuing an M.A. in Leadership and Management at Webster University. Whether on stage or in the classroom, Jean-Paul equips audiences with the tools to lead boldly and speak with purpose.
